The BLACK POWDER (BP) SECTION is composed of a small number of dedicated long range shooters. Modern Black Powder shooting, as shot internationally today, started with a resurgence on the rifle ranges of Canada. Its popularity has since spread throughout the world and today there is an active international array of long range matches being shoot.

The club does not provide equipment and shooters must provide their own firearms and ammunition.

Routinely, the BP section shoots with the Target Rifle section.
