Target Rifle
The TARGET RIFLE (TR) SECTION is composed of fullbore shooters focused on the annual Dominion of Canada National Prize Meet held in early August.

Rifles are all precision-built single shot guns with either diopter sights or scopes. Shooting at ranges of 300 to 900 meters, the commitment to excellence drives these shooters in all types of weather and wind conditions.

Members provide their own equipment and ammunition during the weekly shooting sessions. Routinely, the TR Section shoots on Wednesday evenings from 5:00 PM to last light and on Sundays from 8:30 AM to approximately noon.

The section shoots April to November with a break in mid-July to mid-August for the CFSAC and the National Target Rifle Matches, both of which occur during this period. The Victoria shoot also ocurrs in May each year.
